ESTIMATED HAVE BEEN KILLED
The statistics related to the “Syrian Refugee Crisis” as it is called, are staggering. This has been rightly described as “the greatest humanitarian disaster since World War II.” Though the war occurred ten years ago, the refugees continue to live out its impact daily as millions have still not been able to return home or to settle outside of refugee camps. This humanitarian crisis continues to be felt on a surreal level by Syrian adults and children. We will not forget these individuals and strive to continue to help them make a new life out of this great tragedy.
